Perception made an excellent case study about the project.
I worked on most of the items in that case study,
but below is a clarification on the specifics of what I worked on.

I had two major tasks on this project.
One was creating new locators for the whole season, which includes the addition of branches that flow off of the original design to represent that we're in a "branched timeline", or a timeline that has strayed from the original. Below are some examples of this. The first video shows the "sacred timeline", the original timeline. The second video shows the locators of the branched timelines.
Animated and comped in After Effects.

Below are the various locators that incorporate the new branched timeline idea.
Each one gets more busy and chaotic than the last to reflect the timeline instability as the season progresses. By the end, it's full of timeline branches.

The 2nd task for this season was to expand on the existing main on end title sequence. We wanted to add new shots, as well as change existing ones.
One element in the sequence is the timeline clock. This is an element in the show. They wanted to show this clock animating in the sequence, but they did not have any real footage of it (It's a real set prop in the show!). So, since they didn't have any footage of it, I was tasked with modeling, animating and compositing the clock using only their reference images. In addition to this, we wanted the clock to get more chaotic and gritty as the season progresses. In episode one it's nice and clean, but by the end it has grit and some cracks on it and the clock hands are wildly spinning out of control.

Aside from that, I had a few odd jobs (I love these) on the title sequence. As a generalist, I often get tasked with some random requests. For these it had a lot to do with comping. Below are some items that I comped into footage for the title sequence. With the record player, again we wanted the record to slowly get more and more gritty as the season progressed. I also designed the record sleeve, although you can barely see that in the shot.
I also had to comp some preexisting designs into some shots.
These included some posters, the Miss Minutes TemPad, among other things.
All were comped in After Effects.

The final task was to take the existing logo at the end and modify it so that it "blips" off, similar to how the characters sporadically jump timelines in the show. So at the end of this sequence, the LOKI letters disappear one by one.

The team at Perception was great to work with! I learned a lot, as usual.
Working on film is always a very rewarding experience.
Looking forward to whatever comes next!
